"Cricket is not only a super cool extreme factory custom, but also a glimpse into our production processes! The Pimento sculpture requires a steel rod in her leg for long term stability, and sometimes in production those wires don’t stay in place during the injection molding process. When this happens, we wind up with babies who don’t have wires in their legs, and they can’t be used as-is. So what do we do with babies whose legs can all be moved? We give them to our expert customizers to turn into sweet slumbering babies! Erika did an outstanding job extreme customizing this piece into an accurate laying down foal, adjusting every part of this sculpture to turn her into a correctly snoozing foal. She is flattened out on her down side, all legs show gravity’s effects as they nestle together, and her eyes are sweetly closed. Erika painted her to the ideal baby bay with gorgeous shading and a little star, finished in a lovely satin sheen." www.StoneHorses.com.
