"This is a very special piece for a very special circumstance. Jennifer Buxton of the Braymere Blog has spent the past several decades giving tirelessly of her knowledge and her time through both her Braymere Blog full of tutorials of all kinds, and through heading up NaMoPaiMo, the annual paint a horse activity that has meant so much to so many. Her horse Olive, a truly special mare, experienced a severe colic the night of June 6th and spent the night undergoing surgery. She is on the mend now, but has a tough road ahead.
We have created this portrait model of Olive on our Remington mold customized into a mare. This is a true portrait, with every etched white marking and shade of chestnut captured, along with her subtle health dapples. Jess Hamill worked her magic on this piece, so this offering is all the more special.
