Cibecue

2015 Paint-Your-Own Seminar piece, Cibecue. He was named in honor of the Rodeo-Chediski Fire, which was the second largest forest fire in AZ history. The silver bay body color represents the charred tree trunks and burning embers of the fire. The ash color of the mane and tail represents the fire's ashes. The overo pinto markings represent the clouds that build over a forest fire, and the blue eyes are for the sky above those clouds. The freeze brand on the left side of the neck is the dates of the fire's start and when it was brought under control. His markings are all etched, he has pearl tones in his mane and tail, multi tonal blue eyes, and he is signed on the belly by me, with the date "5/1/15" and "PYO Seminar". Painted by Nicole Moss.
