AHQUABI is not designed after a real horse, but just represents something I really like. The WPH model is one of my favorites, an oldie but a goodie, and I simply LOVE leopard appaloosas. The Stone Company has made a few chestnut leopard appys; I've never seen one done on this model. So since I had already decided I wanted a chestnut appy, I thought the WPH would be the perfect choice. In communicating with the company I didn't want to put too many "restrictions" on their artistry, but rather wanted to let those wonderful artists "have at it." All I requested was the WPH horse in a chestnut appy on the order of OOAK "Swag Bag," but one who is annoyed at something just behind him; one whose head is turned and cocked and has his ears pinned. Aiming for more of an original, foundation-type appaloosa, I asked for a ratty tail and an appy-looking ratty-ish mane. Designed by Laurre Breman.
