Gypsy Woman aka Cracklin' Rose

OOAK ISH from the May 2011 SHCF auction. Painted by Sheila Anderson Bishop. Sheila named her Gypsy Woman, but was re-named Cracklin' Rose. She has painted as a Dunskin Appaloosa with a hand-etched Appaloosa pattern, striped hooves, 2-color hand penciled leg bars and a 3-color etched and penciled mane. She has customized this horse as a mare with udders, carved ears and nose detail including the back of the ears, reshaped muzzle detail, carved lip and nose wrinkles, a crease down the forehead, added eye details, veining, carved skin wrinkles in the jaw and neck, hand carved refined mane, forelock and bridle path details, a swishing short tail with carved hair details, and Sheila even carved frog soles, and heel bulbs on the bottom of the hooves.
