In 2009 the Stone Company started a program called 'My Stone Horse'. It was a combination of models and colors that a collector could personalize. In 2010 the Stone Company changed that name to the 'Design A Horse' (DAH) series. Most of the molds were available, and special colors along with mold customizations would be released as limited editions for special occasions. There were no known quantities as these were considered open runs. The standard colors included black, brown, bay, white, buckskin, chestnut, palomino, sorrel, and grulla became standard in 2010. The standard patterns included an appaloosa, overo, and tobiano. There were also a variety of face and sock markings, along with buyer's choice of matte or glossy finish.
"These are not custom orders, nor are they One of a Kinds; These are a line of models that you can have personalized your way. Models may be marked as "My Stone Horse 2009". They are not limited editions as anyone can order any pattern that is offered here in any combination." -Stone Company, 2009. Models after 2009 had a hand written 'DAH' along with year made. 2010-2012 didn't always have that mark, but starting in 2013, it became a standard signature.
The Sporthorse mold was available 2009-2011, then took a break due to lack of availability. The mold was brought back in 2013 as a 'Retro' release, and I believe only 30 models were available to order.
