Havasu, painted by Sheryl Leisure, is a dramatically customized Buckskin Leopard Appaloosa Western Pleasure mare with bicolor mane and tail. The spots are halo spots, the hooves are striped and the muzzles are mottled. Every one of these models has a different spot pattern. She is an Extreme Makeover run of 35. Her carved head is slightly turned, her gently flowing forward forelock and mane replace the banded original and a soft flowing swishy tail has been added. Her hooves have been evened in size. She was made a mare with a modest udder.
Side note: The original advertising photos showed this model with tack; however, I can't remember if this was an optional purchase. The tack pictured is very similar to the Black Roan Appaloosa Performance Horse from 2000. I seem to recall my Havasu did not come with tack. Please contact me if you remember more!
