Pre-production #9734 Black Shire - 12 total. This model came in a box with a note from Peter Stone written on it about the pre-production status and that there were only 12 made. Last photos show comparison of the pre-production and bald face version models.
Besides the note from Peter, I'm not sure what the difference is between this model and the regular release; however, a collector did send photos of her model with the ribbon color reversed (first set of photos). That seems more like the typical pre-production type variation on these older releases.
