Per Equilith Spring 2000: "Named in honor of Marguerite Henry, 478 red dun overos with the shape of the great lakes in white will be available only at the Great Lakes Congress 2000." These were used in part as a fundraiser for the Misty Foundation. There are many variations in the color and shading in this run. Designed by D'Arry Jone Frank.
Only 34 of the Palomino version Storytellers were made for the Performance Challenge held at the annual Great Lakes Congress live show in 2000. Twenty-five of those models went to the Performance Challenge entrants and the remaining models were used as judge and volunteer gift models.
