Great Xpectations

The Living Horse Series was a lower priced model that was packaged in a window box with suede pads around the ties that attached the model to the box. These models were still produced at the factory in IN. Pictured in the 2003 Living Horse Series catalog. 

Variations include the hind sock on the left leg instead of the right, and a missing star. Unknown how many of these variation were made.
