Awesome Alec is the First Edition on the Thoroughbred mold, limited to 2500 pieces. Per Equilith Fall 2001: "Son of Unbridled Song out of La Lucky Strike, this young stallion is named after the owner Peter Abruzzo's all star baseball son, Alec. Trained by Tom Swearingen, his racing colors are black and white checkerboard with a black tie and white cuffs." There was a variation with no 'moustache' that was less than 50.
