The very first version of woodgrain drafter was sold at the Equilocity breakfast event in 1997. This version is very matte with burgundy colored bobs.
The regular run of 2500 woodgrain drafters looked very much the same, including many glossy versions, and had teal colored bobs, and no color on the tail ribbon (see separate record).
