This model was originally sculpted by Kitty Cantrell. The Andalusian mold was finished in 2014, and on many of the models today, that original date is still marked underneath the back legs. The original resin is the only time this mane was used, and so every model made in plastic has a customized mane. There was not an official specific first release.

This mold was modeled after the Original Arabian mold (assuming credit is given to Kitty Cantrell). It was made with an interchangeable mane and tail so that multiple versions could be easily produced at the Stone factory, such as the popular windblown version. There are also subtle differences to the head and body, including extra veining on the legs. There were three interchangeable forelock options; one flat version that went down the middle of the face, one on the left side between the ear and eye that curled up, and one on the right side that was more skinny between the ear and eye. There was not an official specific first release.
